1. Introduction to the Science of Qirā’āt

  • Definition of Qirā’āt: Understanding what Quranic readings are.
  • Difference Between Qirā’āt and Riwayāt: Clarifying the distinction between readings and narrations.
  • History and Evolution: The origins and historical development of the ten readings.
  • Importance of Qirā’āt: Its role in preserving the Quran and its linguistic diversity.

2. The Ten Reciters and Their Narrators

  • Introduction to the Ten Reciters: A brief overview of the following Qurrā’:
    • Nāfi‘, Ibn Kathīr, Abū ‘Amr, Ibn ‘Āmir, ‘Āṣim, Ḥamzah, Al-Kisā’ī, Abū Ja‘far, Ya‘qūb, and Khalaf.
  • Famous Narrators for Each Reciter: Learning about the transmitters of each reading.

3. Fundamental Rules (Al-Usūl) in the Ten Readings

  • Definition of Usūl: General rules that each reciter adheres to.
